Monitor Controls fixtures fit project and budget needs
Hauppauge, N.Y. (January 31, 2008) – Janus Elevator Products has expanded its line of Monitor Controls PEP Series pre-engineered fixture packages. Designed for low rise elevators, the PEP Series offers low-cost car operating panels, lanterns, hall stations and digital position indicators in a standard design for easy ordering with fast delivery.
The Monitor PEP Series ordering process is fast and flexible to fit customers’ requirements. Customers simply choose the fixtures and features needed from the package options. Monitor’s standard drawing and pricing sheets allow customers to quickly design and calculate the cost of a package that fits project needs and budget. Monitor then customizes in-stock, pre-engineered fixtures for delivery within days of receipt of approved drawings.
The package options are now available for elevators with up to 12 stops, with from two to ten front or rear openings. A new 14 x 60 inch car operating panel fits requirements for both 2000 and 2004 fire service. The expansion of key switch options to a total of four allows for separate light and fan key switches in addition to the independent service, and inspection or access key switches. The new fire service panels are available with any key switch: J series, Yale, or Medeco, in compliance with the different national and state codes.
Car operating panels are available with or without digital display, hands-free phone, and fire service. Backing plate construction on the Car Operating Panel allows the faceplate to be easily removed for refinishing without service interruption. The #4 brushed stainless steel fixtures are available with plastic or tamper resistant button styles. Fixtures are ADA, ASME and local code compliant.
