Janus Appoints Account Manger

Joel Frohlinger to manage sales in Mid-East Coast region

Hauppauge, New York (November 21, 2007) – Elevator equipment specialist Janus Elevator Products has appointed Joel Frohlinger Account Manager, Mid-East Coast.

In his new role, Frohlinger will manage sales for Janus’ door safety edges, emergency communication telephones and systems, and display products.  His Mid-East Coast territory will include New York, New Jersey, Connecticut, Maryland, Virginia and Washington DC.

Frohlinger brings over 35 years of elevator industry experience to his new role at Janus.  He has spent the bulk of his career as owner and president of Able Elevator & Door Repair Co. Inc. (Long Island City, N.Y.).  During this time he developed both hands-on field technical experience and operational management skills.

A Former National Association of Elevator Contractors (NAEC) Board Director, and Joint Apprentice Training Committee (JATC) Trustee, Frohlinger is a member of the Elevator Industry Association (EIA) and the Elevator Conference New York (ECNY).  He is also one of the founding organizers of, and a yearly participant in, the Pop Frohlinger Joe Marchese Memorial Invitational Golf Outing.  This event, now in its thirty-third year, is one of the largest annual fundraisers for the Elevator Escalator Safety Foundation (EESF).  Frohlinger is a graduate of the University of Oklahoma.
